Quigley and The Rat Gut Trio hosts one of the best jam sessions in town. Starts at 9 pm The Cheyenne Saloon is home to another local open mic on Sunday night. They are located on N. Rancho/Cheyenne Monday Night is home to an open mic at Aces and Eights ,310 S. Decatur behind Diversity Tattoo, also hosted by J. Quigley's V.A.M.P. Open Mic at Money Plays is one of the longest running shows around. Hosted by Anne Donohue and drinks from everyone's favorite bartender, Stan. Money Plays also has local shows on Saturday nights. They are on W. Flamingo near the Palms Hotel (info on myspace) House of Blues Unplugged is now called "Acoustic Strip" and is another free show at The Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino hosted by Michael Soli and friends. Another fun open mic is now at King Tut's on W. Charleston /Jones from 9 - 1 am hosted by J. Quigley and V.A.M.P. check them out on myspace. ReJAVAnate coffee holds shows on Friday nights also.
